We've added a few links to the local ski areas - all can be reached with less time than it takes to get to Gatwick and get on a plane.
If you want to go further afield then Revelstoke, Crystal Mountain and Mt Baldy are relatively nearby (in Canadian terms). And Jasper is about a 6/7 hour drive through the Rockies if we fancy some Alberta snow!
Hmmm...why are we going again...its going to be tricky to drag us away from the slopes into the real world...!

Mt Baldy dosen't seem the most promising name for a mountain to ski on! Hopefully come the season of ski, there will be more than an unconvincing comb-over of snow, to his pate
