Thursday (13th) saw us retracing our steps on the High Rim Trail east of Winfield - in the snow! We had been up at the weekend with the Lake Country Outsdoors Club and we wanted to see if we could retrace our steps as we had spent most of the time chatting. The whole trail is about 50kms long and runs from Vernon in the north to past Kelowna towards Big White in the south. Its marked with bits of pink and black ribbon which can be tricky to spot but much easier coming back in the snow as you just have to retrace those lovely snowy prints. This view is from one of the apline meadows and Duck Lake is in the front with Lake Okanagan behindNot sure if this is where we were or what we were supposed to do?!
